مصطلح MCITP هو إختصار لـMicrosoft® Certified Information Technology Professional وهذه الشهاده هى الجيل الجديد من شهادات ميكروسوفت.
والMCITP اسم عام لا يختص بالتعامل مع SQL أو Visual Studio أو Windows Server فقط بل هي شهادة لمجالات مختلفة , وسنستعرض فيما يلى المجالات المختلفه التى يمكن الحصول على هذه الشهاده فيها ومتطلبات الحصول على كل شهاده منهم .
المجالات التى يمكن الحصول على الشهاده فيها ومواعيد امتاناتها القادمة :

·         Windows Client:
These certifications will be retired on January 31, 2014.
·         Windows Server:
These certifications will be retired on July 31, 2013.
·         Microsoft SQL Server:
These certifications will be retired on July 31, 2013.
·         Microsoft Office Project Server:
These certifications will be retired on January 31, 2013.
·         Microsoft Exchange Server:
Retirement dates for these exams will be announced in 2013.
·         Microsoft SharePoint:
Retirement dates for these exams will be announced in 2013.
·         Microsoft Lync:
These exams will be retired on July 31, 2013.

لعل من أهم هذه المجالات والتى يهمنا الحديث عنها هو مجال:
Windows server
الذى يختص بالشبكات وبيئة ويندوز سيرفر 2008 ( بديل عن الـ MCSE )
ويوجد فى هذا المجال شهادتين وهما على الترتيب:

1. MCITP: Enterprise Administrator:
وللحصول على هذه الشهاده يجب إجتياز 5 إمتحانات وهما:
  • Exam 70-640
  • Exam 70-642
  • Exam 70-643
  • Exam 70-620
  • Exam 70-647


2. MCITP: Server Administrator:
وللحصول على هذه الشهاده يجب إجتياز 3 إمتحانات وهما:
  • Exam 70-640
  • Exam 70-642
  • Exam 70-646

وإذا كنت تمتلك شهادة MCSE 2003 وأردت الترقيه إلى شهادة MCITP 2008 فهناك عدد من الأمتحانات التى يجب إجتيازها :

1. Upgrade from MCSE on Windows Server 2003 to MCITP Enterprise Administrator and Server Administrator on Windows Server 2008 (both)
  • Exam 70-680
  • Exam 70-649
  • Exam 70-646 and Exam 70-647

2. Upgrade from MCSE on Windows Server 2003 to MCITP Enterprise Administrator on Windows Server 2008
  • Exam 70-680
  • Exam 70-646
  • Exam 70-647

3. Upgrade from MCSE on Windows Server 2003 to MCITP Server Administrator on Windows Server 2008
  • Exam 70-648
  • Exam 70-646
